Fairington Tree Surgery Recycling
At Fairington Tree Surgery, we try to re-use and recycle as much as possible.Wherever possible, we like to take waste and have it chipped into mulch. Whether the wood is taken from trees or Landscaping Bath, we aim to recycle. It can then be used within gardens, golf courses or garden centres. Mulching has a number of different benefits. It can provide your plants with plenty of nutrients, it can help lock in moisture, can help protect the roots of plants from the cold and help create a barrier against any weeds.
We aim to be as environmentally friendly as possible when carrying out tree surgery and Landscaping Bath, Bristol and Radstock. We run our vehicles on low sulphur diesel and use biodegradable oil. Low sulphur diesel is cleaner than typical diesel, and is refined before use. Sulphur is a natural part of crude oil, which diesel is derived from. It is this that causes soot and is a prime contributor to air pollution. Low sulphur diesel lowers engines' harmful exhaust emissions and improves air quality.
All wood which has been felled by us or taken from Landscaping at Fairington Tree Surgery can also be re-used. If the client does not want to keep the wood, then it can be taken to our yard, split, stacked and stored for a season. It is then sold as firewood the year after. We aim to preserve wherever possible and believe in 'prevention rather than cure.
